Super Daffs kept his momentum going by taking Golden League 9 in great style see off Mick Smith and Bob Pinder in the group of death as he continued to keep the pressure on the others.He beat Jake Rhodes in the semi finals before beating Sie Simmons in in the final afte Sie had beaten Kyle Johnson making his Golden League TV debut.Mick Smith was the winner of arguably the best one so far to date Golden League 10 as he would be on the brink of going out after a spirited performance by the Undertaker Paul Brittle beating Mick in the group stage.Also Aaron Sayles played a big part in the group as all players beat each other and just one dart at a double could have turned the group on its head in a wonderful advert for darts from the golden league.
Mick would play Paul Johnson who won through his group seeing off Angie Brittle and Anne Simmons after Angie had recorded victory over Anne in the group opener to get her off the mark in a emotional game.Trevor Burkhill beat Dennis Richardson 2-1 after both men had recorded victories against Pat Meeson to set up a decider and Sie Simmons won through his group by just edging out Jake Rhodes for top spot with Kyle Johnson and Liam Johnson in a very tough and close group.Mick Smith beat Paul Johnson and Trevor Burkhill did likewise to Sie Simmons in the other semi finals to end great runs by both players.Mick Smith in the final dug really deep as it looked like Trevor had got him but a brilliant finish by Mick to level the game and a even better 100 two dart outshot to take the final.Brilliant night of darts as always as the Golden League from the Woodbourne Hotel in Sheffield
