Projectdarts Golden league at the Woodbourne Hotel
Pete Daffin was the winner of Golden League 5 after seeing of a good field of players.Super Daffs got the tough group which is comprised of last weeks semi finalist and and got through with wins over Aaron Sayles and Sie simmons in tough games and followed Trev Burkhill into the semi finals to play each other with the game poised at 1-1 after Daffs hit a superb 120 out to level the game he would go on to take the match in comfort.Mick Smith would be the final opponent after he won through against Pat Meeson who has been very unlucky not to make the semis so far and former finalist Liam Johnson topping the group.Jake Rhodes was the winner of the other nights group as he battled through against Paul "The Undertaker" Brittle and Paul "The Demon " Johnson and set up a top of the table decider against The Queen of Darts Anne Simmons and won a very edgy game.Jake and Mick Smith had a close game with Mick Making the final.Pete Daffin was victorious in a hotly contested final with a barrage of ton plus scores.Pete now moves into 2nd place on the rankings as we head into week 6 and the halfway stage
